For customers who cannot afford to run the risk of any downtime throughout the year, OSC are able to recommend several additional resiliency options through our various partners. Resilience options ensures that two fibre routes between service end points are kept as diverse from each other as possible. OSC can provide and activate a secondary, diversely routed path from the same building entry point. If the primary path goes down, the secondary path is automatically activated using Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP).		The optional disaster recovery service allows clients to route email and access the Internet via a second (cold) site in the event of an emergency.
